Updated Rite Aid Coupon Acceptance Policy - Effective 3/28/12

Rite Aid has updated their coupon policy as of 3/28/12.  This is something you will want to print out and keep in your coupon binder.  You'll also want to become familiar with it so as to minimize coupon issues.

Some of the main points that have changed are:
  • eCoupons: Rite Aid and it business partners make electronic coupons available that can be loaded directly on a wellness+ card. The register automatically “rings” the coupon when the qualifying item is scanned.(This is in reference to the Load2Card coupons available as part of the Rite Aid Wellness membership)
  • Buy One, Get One Free: Rite Aid accepts Buy One, Get One Free coupons, however only one coupon can be used for each pair of items purchased. A customer can use one “cents off” coupon in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion (or with a Buy One, Get One at a % off promotion or with a Buy One, Get One Free coupon), although the value of the cents off coupon cannot exceed the selling price of the item.  Buy One, Get One Free coupons cannot be used in conjunction with a Buy One, Get One Free or with a Buy One, Get One at a % off promotion. (Although you can not use a BOGO coupon, you CAN still use one cents off coupon)
  • Removal from Policy: $5 Maximum on Internet Printable Coupons.  (Sounds like over $5 value coupons will now be accepted!)
