How to Keep Your Tomatoes and Roses Bug Free

It's frustrating to go outside and find your tomato plants full of bugs!  Especially if you were looking forward to a fairly good crop.  Any easy way to keep your tomato free of bugs is to mix 1 tablespoon of dish soap in a quart size spray bottle filled with water.  You will then spray this onto your plants in the morning before it becomes too hot.  It is not recommended that this be done in the evening since it may not give the leaves enough time to dry (making the plant susceptible to fungus).  This mixture will also help keep your roses bug free.  Just use the same ratio of soap and water.  You'll want to spray these early in the day as well.
